Make sure you invest the $100 to get it inspected by a certified, independent mechanic. He/She will be able to tell you if it is worth the buy.

If something goes wrong right after you buy it, you have no recourse, as car sales with no warranty are always 'buyer beware'.

l personally would not trust a car seller that says ''new paint job, it has flakes or something like that'' it does not really sound like he knows what he is talking about. The mileage is pretty high but it is a good range for a 1998. It looks like a good clean car but I'd double check the carfax just to be sure

my advice to you is test drive it first if you can so you can see how it feels.. that would be your first way to figure out if something is wrong with it. also if you have a diagnostic tool or know someone that has one
use that to check it out to see if the cars computer has any underlying problems on the car.... also take it to a local mechanic shop to get it checked out ..... after any of this you will know if its a good buy or not.
