l wanna buy an a new Lancer. According to the dealer, the Lancer sold here is made to survive the very bumpy Egyptians roads. Is this true?
Chado, l appreciate the answer. But can someone please tell me if a Lancer sold in England for example are different than those sold in Egypt.

According to the dealer, the air con in Lancers in Kuwait or Saudi are more powerful than those in the rest of the world because of the heat. l wanna know if this sort of stuff is true or not. Thanks

the lancer everywhere is very heavy duty. the lancers in past years always were winner rally cars. and they go over more than bumps. they are proving the strength of the new lancers with a rally car on the DAKAR Rally. so yes, they are tough.

l highly doubt it.

They are production cars.. Therefor every one that comes out of the line is made the same.
Manufactures do not pull some aside and say ''Okay.. These are for Egypt..''

Unless the dealer changed out the suspension, It is just another Lancer.

But they are heavy duty pieces of Machinery.

Get one.

If you do not like something about it, There is always after market parts like Suspension components.

l do not how old u are, but here is a small lesson in car buying.Do not listen to everything the Dealer tells you. Impressing people with truth, lies, & random information is how they sell cars. So ur decision should based on whether or not you're ready drop 15-22 thousand on a car, & not what some salesman said.
To answer ur question. If u go the official Mitsubishi site, & click on the Lancer under the ''Our vehicles'' list, a bullet labeled ''Performance tuned suspension'' should be one of many to popup. In that explaination Mitsubishi says they tested the Lancer in multiple continents on roads ''from the Autobahn to cobblestones but nowhere on the site do they specify that any Lancer they manufacture is superior or inferior to the other, with the exception of the ones sold in California due to emission regulations. Now do u see why u can not always listen to a salesman? LOL
