Im looking at buying a 1995 3000Gt only 60k miles for 5500..l wanted to know how much horsepower these cars have and what there 0-60 times are. Is it FWD or RWD.lknow the Vr4 is alot faster but l cant find one for sale in my area so i've given up on that ..so this is my only option and it seems like a good deal. Lemme no any otherGeneric info of how fast the car is and maybe compare to a couple other cars..thanks

base model 3000gt is are pretty slow

its a rwd car l think it has a sohc inline 4

3000gt is are expensive to maintain and aint easy to fix take that in to consideration

The base model was rated at 225 horsepower. Be also aware there is a maintenance requirement to replace the water pump and timing belt at 60,000 miles. The guy above is right they can be expensive unless you can do the work your self and lots to spend on special tools.

The 3000 GT is a rear wheel drive car that is equipped with a V6 DOHC with 24 valves putting out 222 peak power and about 200 lb/ft torque. It goes to 60 in about 8.6 sec. and through a quarter mile in 16.4 sec. That is a good deal you've got there. Just make sure that proper maintenance have been performed to save you the headaches. They are not exactly cheap to maintain.
