Im looking about buying either a lancer evolution ix or x. My friends tell me that it is only offered in manual, is this correct? What would be a good price range for this car? Gas mileage?

the x is better and faster but it depends on wat u want it for

l personally think the 9 looks better than the Evo X, the X looks so weird. l am sure they offer them in automatic. They both are not so great on gas. l have an Evo 8 and it only gets like 16-17 mpg.

The X is offers in Manual and a Semi-Automatic(Tiptronic) transmission with paddle shifters.

The IX is only in Manual.

The IX costs around $25,000. You will not find one cheaper.
The X costs $35,000 with no options.

Gas mileage is bad. These cars cars that almost reach 300HP and go as fast as some high-end sportscars like Porsche and Lamborghini.

They will get around 26mpg at best.
