what should l choose between these 2, a 2002 mitsubishi gt eclipse or a 2nd gen gst eclipse? thanks

the 2nd gen eclipse gs-t (stock) is a 210 hp
(160 kW) turbocharged 2.0l.
that goes from 0-60 in about 7.4 seconds. and does a 1/4 mile in about 15.5 secs

the 2002 eclipse-gt has a 200 hp 3.0 L 24-valve SOHC Mitsubishi 6G72 engine, 0-60 mph takes 7.2 seconds and the 1/4 mile happens in 15.7 seconds
the 3g eclipse has has some average reviews as far as performance goes.

id rather find a gsx over a gst tho. you will never regret awd.

the 2g has more potential than the new eclipses tho.

The 1g is better than both.

l agree with Mark, the 1Gs are way better because they have the 14B turbo instead of the T25. The T25 spools up faster but does not have as much maximum output(PSI-wise) as the 14B.

2nd gen. l love mine, they come in gst or gsx (turbo) or you could just get an gs(blah!). l have a modded out GST and l couldnt ask for a better car or better looking car. Plus they are so easy to mod and cheap.:) Fairly good on gas, faster than those ugly dum 1999 and ups. Go with any eclipse between 98-98( all the second gens). They just look better.
