l have a 1998 Mitsubishi eliclipse GSX, and l purchased aECLIPSE GSX GST DSM 4G63 TURBO INTERCOOLER+PIPING on ebay. I am not sure how to fit and holdthe intercooler on my car, and the pipping does not seem to fit (the shape of the tubbing) from the intercooler to the engine./turbo. l would really appreciate any help, or any directions to where l can get a diagram or instructions. Thank you!

Without seeing the kit it is difficult to tell. The intercooler should have flanges on the ends. Sometimes there r predrilled holes & sometimes not. You will have to fit the pipes to the engine first. Are there instructions with the kit? If not u will have to determine which pipe goes where. It should fit, unless u got a really cheaply made kit that just kind of fits. If it wo not fit u will have to try & modify it. Good luck. But make absolutly sure it does not fit, in any order, two or three times over before trying to beat it into submission.
When u get the pipes to fit on both ends, fit up the intercooler & see where it would best be mounted. If it has pre drilled holes, mark them on the frame of the car or a radiator bracket, where ever they fall. If there r no pre drilled holes then u get to pick & choose where u want to drill them. So mark the intercooler, take it back off, drill the holes, put it back on, mark the holes on the frame or rad brackets, take the intercooler off & drill those holes.

NOTE: Some intercoolers r flow directional meaning that the air flows better through the intercooler one way. If this is the case the inlet & outlet should be marked some way, either by arrows or words. Before u drill any holes make sure the intercooler is oriented correctly.

Now take everything back off.
Start by working from the turbo forward, install one pipe at a time, making sure the connections r somewhat tight, then do the intercooler & finally to the intake. Now afer averything seems to be fit right, tighten down all of the clamps & fittings that join the pipes together. Hook up any sensors of valves u need to & u should be good to go.

Like l said without seeing ur exact circumstance it is hard to give detailed advice. This is just a general guide.
