Has anyone ever had any problems with the '07? If so , what were they? l have had mine since Jan. '07 and got an awesome deal (about $8,000 off). l have had the power sterring pump replaced (on warranty, of course). And my windshield just cracked today. l have never had anything hit my windshield. It cracked from the very bottom to just above the Windshield wipers. Has anyone had this problem? l have an awesome warranty also. does anyone know if the warranty covers this?
l have driven this car everywhere. A rock did not hit it. l do not know what it was caused by. My husband says it could have been caused by stress from just driving it everyday. Plus the way the weather has been lately, l would not doubt it. It was snowing and raing in the same day 2 days ago and now it was 49 today and supposed to snow tomorrow.

My friend has ..and he is satisfied.any way l dnt know much..think ok..but u better check more..

the galants r pretty nice. l cant wait for the next generation though.

i have a truck & same thing happened to my windshield. look real close a rock might have hit under the wipers & caused the crack. unfortunately l do not think this is covered by warranty. the good news is replacement glass is cheaper than insurance premiums so u dont need to report this. just call ur local auto glass people. 300bucks (installation included) is the hightest price u should pay for a new windshield

l do not think the warranty covers this kind of mishap. Your insurance will cover this. Same thing happened to my car(OZ). when l looked closely at the crack, l saw stone chips, three of them, along the crack line. this happened when icestorm hit last year. Contraction and expansion may or will cause a crack in windshields, especially when you already had chips in your windshield. love the Galant.

My father is on his fourth & yes it is an 2007. l like the ride & the way it looks but he is had a couple of issues as well. Nothing major, but he is already had the rear emblem replaced after it started started coming off. Not only that, one of his trunk lid struts has broken at the mount on the trunk. He bought his in November 2006 & he only has 6100 miles on it. His previous Galants -a 2004 (which was totalled last year) & 1996 which both of them had problems with emblems falling off, the mysterious windshield crack, & oil disappearing but no leaks. The first one was a 1991 & he never had even one problem with that one
