Hey, does anyone know if it is possible to put a GSX drivetrain into a Sypder chassis? If so would it just be swapping in the k member, rear axle, tranny, and exhaust? l can not think of why nobody has done it unless there is some major difference between the two models. Please let me know Thanks!

l dont think anybody has done it cause its not worth going through all that trouble but im sure it can be done.

I've read about it on one of the car forums. It has been done, but it is a long process. Sorry l can not give you full detail of which site it was, but yes it has been done, not sure on cost either.

You can do it but its a ton of work and money. Some cars that come in AWD and FWD have different front subframes too.

Why would you want to?

AWD saps your power and adds weight. Its already the Spyder model so it weighs more. In most cases a good driver wont need AWD-most people just want it because they dont know how to launch their car.

Stock to stock the GS-T is faster than the GS-X unless the roads are wet or snowy.
